Some of the paintings you see here are of genuine flowers we have come upon in our quest for nature's beauty. Many of our flower and garden pictures are painted from our own gardens and flowers in our yard and neighborhood.To fully appreciate the depth of detail in the floral subject, Betty takes numerous photos of them from various angles and distances, then studies the pictures and begins the enjoyable process of creating a painting.
